For instance, many simply take a thyroid hormone if the thyroid is low. But, what is causing it? Is it lack of Pituitary hormones, adrenal hormones or is the liver unable to convert T4 to T3. Maybe it is heavy metal poisoning? It is important to always ask why and to fix the problem, not just provide a band-aid to one part of the body. So it is important to look further and to work with the whole body and mind in solving the problem. PHILOSOPHY: I work with balancing the body/mind nutritionally, hormonally and energetically by using various integrative and alternative healing arts methods. Often the body is toxic and or undernourished and these imbalances lead to destabilization of the body matrix. So often digestion and digestive disorders present issues throughout the body. The key is to identifying these issues and then determining how to best solve the initial problem. When brought back into balance the body can then use its innate sense of wisdom to heal. I also found that nutritionally deficient clients can exhibit clinical disorders sometimes defined as various disorders. Often I work with amino acids in this situation or specifically with the adrenals to balance the body emotional and physical stress. Due to these findings, my practice is focused upon treating the whole person: mind, body & soul. EDUCATION: I graduated from the California College of Naturopathy and am a Naturopathic Practitioner. I also graduated from the University of Santa Monica with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, and from Redland's University with a bachelor's degree in Business & Management. I am certified in EEG Neurofeedback from the BCIA and have certifications from various health related trainings such as MicroCurrent, Metabolic Typing and Nutrition, Endocrinology and Homotoxicology to name a  few.  I  love learning and am always taking some class or certification  so that iI can stay aligned with my true passion in  helping my clients help themselves as well.
